One of my most anticipated releases that actually delivered! This is their best yet imo and one of my favorites from the year. Semkin and The Summoning are some of the best songs they’ve done and Sine Morbo and The Mists of Krakatoa are also really excellent.

Excellent melancholic doom album with great songwriting, beautiful angelic vocals, and such a dark, haunting, and mesmerizing atmosphere.

The vibe of this album is truly unique. The way they layer the vocals reminds me of the Cocteau Twins at times. The only thing that irked me a bit was a couple of forced guitar solos, as they didn´t add any substance to the songs but actually disrupted the flow (e.g., on "Shattered By Wisdom").

The piano melody in the second half of the Sine Morbo sounded really familiar; it almost drove me insane, then I figured out where i recognized it from
