Slayer is canceled (it seems), the 30% of my chance is canceled either! dont know maybe it will be 0% after I see that Metallica wont come neither.

I'm thinking about going to this as I have that weekend free and I've been wanting to go to Turkey for awhile, so its an excuse to go around Istanbul at the same time.

Its difficult to work out exactly how the festival works though because there is no english version of the website and google translator is not being that helpful. As far as I can tell its in the Besiktas stadium which means I'd probably have to get a hotel as well. hmmm need to think about this.

You might want to consider to stay a few days longer and attend Unirock Festival as well? That's what I'd do if I had the time to go.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that myself. The lineup that is, not the fact that Manowar are under Metallica. That's surprising as well. One would've expected Joey to pull out of such an event at which Manowar aren't the biggest name on the billing.

Since there is no official statement, I put the bands' names randomly. The order will definitely change. Separately, I am very surprised some people reckon Metallica should play under Manowar. I can only laugh.

i wasn't saying that, and neither was Promo. i personally believe both bands shouldn't be playing on the same day, because Metallica is bigger than Manowar, but Manowar has Joey's enormous ego to consider, so you just can't put them together.

i've checked out both Metallica and Slayer's websites which both say they'll play on the 27th in Istanbul, here's the day-by-day lineup(given that Manowar play in Bucharest on the 25th, i deduced that the only possible date for them is the 26th)

25th: Rammstein
26th: Manowar
27th: Big 4 + Heaven&Hell

OMG it is gonna be wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiild guys
