Those vocals suck big time

Album is pretty solid, vocals are sucky though. who listens to vocals anyways...

The increased melodic vocals were expected. Overall, very solid album I think.

Very good stuff, much better than my expectations. Dont like Daniels or Alexis clean thou, but other than that, very solid stuff.

Didn't disappoint me. Every album brings something new and that's a good thing.

The hash vocal is so fucking weak ... clean vocal is also empty ...

No suprises, Aleksis clean vocals were avarage, worse than I thought they'd be (his frozen angel is exellent), and krides sucked as usually. But a solid album

Vocals are so weak and annyoning. And why does Aleksi most of the clean vocals? Kride should have done them. The music isnt that bad though.

Is this the same band that released Mirror Of Madness in 2003? Really? Cuz it doesn't look like...

Now seriously... This is totally wrong. No way I am going to take this silently. Norther has done a solid discography even though they had a small slip with the "N" and that is the reason I had hope left even after the godly vocalist Petri Lindroos left the band. I've Imperanon's Stained album and it's a masterpiece in my collection, no doubt about that.

But jesusmotherf***ingchrist is it horrible when you combine Norther with Imperanon! They - Do - Not - Fit - Together. Even with my terrible musical talent and ear I can tell that Aleksi Sihvonen's vocals do not fit with the style of Norther. Oh God, even the band profile picture looks now like monkey trainees with the monkey on the foreground... gone wild. THE HORROR!

Just listen any song on the "Mirror of Madness" or "Death Unlimited" and compare them with the corresponding one on "Cicle Regenerated" (wtf is this album title anyway, Rudolf the Reindeer finally meets the Santa Claus??). I'm 100% you'll pick the previous, whatever song you selected.

The single reason I listened through the album three times (you don't have an idea how many lagers I needed for that process) was because of instrumental parts. Was there any Norther left? Was there awesome solos? Did the drummer pass out after any song?

All I've to say about the instrumental side is this: decent. Ye, decent. Combined with the horrible vocals I'll give it 6. Oh f*** it. That god damn band profile picture made smash my keyboard, so I'll drop it to 5. Happy friggin' easter people, happy friggin' easter.

Was it that bad? i haven't heard the entire album but i thought that the pre-release "break myself away" was pretty good
are the other songs really that bad?

Oh, stop masturbating over Petri. Aleksi ain't bad, the guy who did most of the clean vocals managed to satisfy my taste, and if ANYONE says again that Kride sucks, I will personally decapitate him. Drums were good, there's a bit of hint at Amorphis (forgot which song), riffs aren't the most original ones on the planet, but you have to accept that when you listen to any melodeath band (or extreme power, or however the fuck you want to call it) after 2000-something.

Gah, people change opinions about musicians based on whether they're in the band or not. It makes me angry. I'll probably write a review for this one as soon as the 3 month mark is gone

Post-N Norther + Imperanon vocals = bad? How surprising... The vocals are what make me incapable of listening through "Stained" and Norther has been sucking big time for a couple years now. But I'll have to listen to this seriously before agreeing with the ambient "this is pure shit" opinion...

I actually like Aleksi's vocals, no doubt Pete was way better since he is quite impossible to top...
But I really can't stand Kride's gay shit vocals, he sucks sucks sucks and sounds like his pop shit he has around -.-

Rather decent album, though I refuse to call it Norther, on my Ipod it is labeled as Nu-ther.
I will say that it is a bit worse then N though, the vocals make me contimplate mutilating my ears with a spoon, maybe Norther should have became an instrumental band after they mindlessly kicked out their Dave Mustaine.

It is real fucking awesome!!

i didnt like the sound in this album .
i dont think to call it power metal because the vocals as you said sucks .
still quite good album

I dont like the vocalist sound , its sucks all time

I was actually expecting much worse than this. The vocals weren't terribly enjoyable but I thought the music was able to hold it up at times.


That being said I can't give this more than a 7 (and a low one at that)

Am I the only one that actually really enjoys this album...?

Would have been a great album if the vocals didn't completely destroy it...
