Descendant XII, the new upcoming album from Malaysian melodic black metal band Hayagriva will be released on September 2011 via Malaysia-based label Khakan Productions.

The follow-up to 2007's Red Heaven was recorded between 2009 to 2011 at several studios in Malaysia.

According to a statement, this will be the band's best release so far. Featuring 11 brand-new tracks (plus one hidden bonus track), the songs will have more pace and intensity in all departments, as hinted in the Emperor Awaits single.

All songs are properly and carefully composed. With lots of new riffs and more solos than before. Keyboards sounds classic full of moods and pure shadow strokes.

The most important thing though will be the vocals. Guitarist Mantheravathee commented as follows: "Its Aavimarga!!! Who else got the magical voices for Hayagriva unless him?"

Frontman Aavimarga added: "We are very excited to make this CD available to our fans. As this is a pure reflect to the 1990's releases of Hayagriva"
