User profile update

A lot of people asked me to add a 'Favorite books' field in user profiles - well, it's finally done

The number of reviews, articles, intervies and news is now linked to the lists of respective publications by this user.

Also, on the Stats panel you can now recount user stats by clicking on the small [img]/images/recount.gif[/img] icon in the bottom.

Stats are recorded when you add reviews, articles and so on. Sometimes they get recorded incorrectly, so they need to be recounted (updated).

i also notice we have more room to add favorite bands! thats always a good thing!

the limit is still 255 chars. or do you mean something else?

well it seems to have gone up for me - i know i had used as many characters and put as many bands in as i could.
today when i went into editing my profile i had an extra 20-odd characters to use so i could add three more bands in there

aaaaaaaa - ive realised what has caused this
before when we pressed return to go onto the next line - that used two characters, but now it only uses one - so the extra characters i had were from all the new lines for the bands already in there
so the limit is still the same, but we can fit more bands in - as a new line only costs one character now and not two

I really liked these changes, I agree, MS is improving

Little question:
If you're busy after all, why not updating the "events added" too? I mean just the counter, the number doesn't even have to link to the regarding events for me.

I didndt see chages in that part, I after your post tr do it but all was same, no new room for bands in prof.

we havent got more characters, its that going onto the next line only takes one character now instead of two - so thats where i got my extra characters from - from the bands on each line i already had in there
i dont know if anyone else is understanding what i am trying to say, but i know what i mean. haha

I didnt understand damn man I understand meaning of each world, but dont understand meaning of all article

alright then ill have another go of trying to explain

after you have put the first band in, you need to press 'return' or 'enter' to go down a line so you can put the next band in
before - when you pressed 'return' or 'enter' to go down a line, that took up 2 characters - but now it only uses 1
so because of that, i got about twenty extra characters to use (because i had about twenty bands in my favorites) so i used them to put more bands in with

I removed them for now - the count wasn't accurate.

That's why...wondered about the same thing

Me too! I was "Wtf? Where did the events go!"
It seems there's an answer to it all...

I think they are still on the database. The count wasn't accurate...so they won't return?
