Indian Metal Bands

Thumbs up: +1
Just thought I'd make a list of bands from India that you might want to check out.
Nobody is really reinventing the wheel or creating something that is ground breaking, but there are some pretty decent bands from here.

Aw, I thought Exhumation (IND) had been added I'd add Threinody, Metakix, Sceptre. Maybe Moksha... probably not, on checking their current state. A couple of these would appear among the Suggestions to be added to MS

Also lol @ Scribe - one of New Zealand's best rappers goes by the same name

Also, after checking MA... does 'Infernal Wrath' mean anything to you?

Metakix and Sceptre aren't very active, Moksha disbanded after the loss of their vocalist. Threinody made a comeback after a long hiatus, they've been gigging a bit.

Yeah, and Infernal Wrath are on MS, but aren't active anymore.

Ah, I know those guys.
My side project(sludgy heavy rock) have shared stage with them quite a few times. Cool band

I'd suggest checking out Bevar Sea.

I've been into gig of Bhayanak Maut and they were performing like bunch of smelling kids hoping everywhere on stage and some really random music coming from their clothes. I don't know who the fuck they were, but seriously they should know what they're doing.

I heard Kryptos and Devoid, both sounds amazing. These guys are pretty much old bands in India and have got loads of experience in their bag.

That's totally awesome! I've never seen clothes play random music before.

And yeah Kryptos and Devoid have been around for a while, but Kryptos are probably the oldest active metal band in India right now.

Launchpad spitted out a very good band couple of years back "Reverrse Polarity". I met his lead singer and he's hilarious with his own stories/experience. Not because I met him, his band is great. They play some very good music (empty faces).

Now that is something we called good recs. You actually ostracized his 5-10 bands off the list. I'd hear Skyharbor once and they sounded amazing. Skyharbor started as instrumental three-piece at the 2011 Bacardi NH7 Weekender festival. Few members added from Maryland and Nottinghamshire and completed the positions. I know all this 'cuz one of my friends were touring with them as an additional musician(bass player). Great progressive act.

RD are pretty cool. Will add them to the list as well. I still haven't checked out the full album though.

I actually prefer RD to Sahil's main project, Demonic Resurrection.
