Half thrash, half epic heavy metal = winning combination. Mystification and Dragon Star are simply masterpiece songs

I dont like artwork, dont fitts this Conan and Atlantis loving viking inspired band. If we talk production this is perfect. Good, mix, master, studio work, its best from all albums so far. No much difference seems band carried on where they left in previous record, just better mix n master quality here.

Great album, not as groundbreaking as Crystal Logic, but it has a lot more speed, the riffs are much faster and less doomy, and the guitar tone is fantastic, fairly inconsistent though some very good songs, some not so good.

IMHO this is a bit overrated compared to The Deluge. Don´t get me wrong. It´s a good MR record but not in their highlight catalog for me. A lot of average material. But yes there are some very good ones like Spirits Of The Dead, Mystification, Masque Of The Red Death (best on album) and Death By The Hammer
