Always standing sturdy and swathing in their favoured pub's distinctive aroma, British stoner riff articulates Orange Goblin are the kind of band that know full well how blessed they are with a pool cue. If the game here be one of sinking their discographical equivalent of an eight ball, they've got this in the pocket.

"The Quaker"
I'm on the very first spin, but I like this lot better than Eulogy.

Excellent album as I expected it would be. It might not feel as strong as the last album (I personally consider "an eulogy for the damned" to be among the band's best works) but it still has a very consistent sound, and one which makes them stand out. Highlights for me would be 'The devil's whip', 'Bloodzilla' and 'Titan'.

Another nice stoner metal album filled to the brim with juicy riffs. Just what you'd expect from such an established band as Orange Goblin. I'd probably give this album an even higher rating, if not for those moments reminiscent of Motörhead.
My favourites: Sabbath Hex, Übermensch, Into The Arms Of Morpheus, The Abyss, Titan, Blood Of Them, The Shadow Over Innsmouth.
