I'm scared since I've been loving all Shining albums until V. I hope this isn't another 9-worth album.

While their newest albums are very enjoyable for me, sometimes I wish Kvarforth would try to pull something like this again. The sinister and morbid atmosphere this one and the first two albums have is still leagues above the regular DSBM you normally find.

I find this album actually has a depressive feel to it unlike the newer ones, though the killyourself part at the end gives it away that he's just a showpony edgelord.
BTW shining is a nsbm band. Kvarforth posted a pic of himself with his good peste noire buddy on insta the other day. Full blown nsbm tie revealed, cancel all shows!

No shit, I was just saying what I thought was the end part took away the insincerity of the depressive feel of the album by revealing his edgelordness.
Dsbm made for the sake of being edgy and not having any real emotion caught up in it feels plastic to me.

You must be talking about Manipulation Mass, a bonus track from their second album. It's quite skippable.
