Napalm Death have just revealed the second track from their upcoming release, their 15th studio album Apex Predator - Easy Meat due out on January 26th, 2015 in Europe and January 27th in North America via Century Media Records. The UK grindcore pioneers give you an opportunity to check out the song "How The Years Condemn" now. It's almost 3-minutes of brutality available through Soundcloud below.

Napalm Death's bassist Shane Embury checked in with the following comment about the song he wrote: "Musically I wanted this track to encompass lots of different rhythms and nuances in the short space of time which the song occupies, which I hope we achieve, and that it bursts with an intensity and emotion to match the theme of the lyrics!

"Lyrically it's a departure from the rest of the new album as its self-reflective - a couple of years ago I was hospitalized prior to a very important tour and was forced to miss out on going and had to stay at home. More importantly I realized in the time I was in hospital that I really had to make a choice which was either to carry on down the same path of selfish destruction as I had seen some of my friends embark on or stay around for the people I loved and who loved me! Yes, it's a familiar story, no doubt. but it was an awakening for me which I very much needed and shortly after I was blessed with the birth of my daughter so I am glad I made the right decision... We are not invincible - Nor are we indestructible. There are choices - points of return..."

Sounds like Napalm Death.

Yep, and every 3 years or so we get our portion of them, if we want it or not, and I want.

indeed

It's mildly annoying that their modern releases are labeled "grindcore" when they're clearly death metal. They haven't been grindcore since FETO. But I digress, modern Napalm Death rules. This band has been on a winning streak since Enemy of the Music Business and Barneys voice just keeps getting more ferocious.

Niiiiiiiiice. Love the sound of the bass. Like Khold said, these guys never slow down. It really feels like they get better and better with time.

14 albums so far and none of them was disappointing for me, so I expect this new one won't be either. And according to what I'm listening here so it seems.

Napalm Death rules!

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
