The Foreshadowing - Recording New Album

Early last year, doom gothic metallers The Foreshadowing announced that they were in songwriting mode for their next album. Well, now the Italians have started the recordings for the successor to Second World (2012). The band has checking in now with an update. They are working at the Outer Sound Studios. Drummer Giuseppe Orlando has started recording his parts, the bass tracking is done and the guitars are next!

Here is their latest studio update: "Bass tracking is finally over! Francesco Giulianelli delivered some gloomy and punchy grooves at the Outer Sound Studios. A huge thanks goes out to Warwick and Eko Music Group for the support. Now guitars are the next in line... stay tuned for more."

Haven't thoroughly listened to any of their records barring their debut, but I loved that record...I guess I'll be checking this one out

I remember liking their debut back inthe day, and Giuseppe Orlando is quite the decent drummer (at least from what I remember of Novembre)

Colour me excited, this ought to be decent.

Oh, nice.
Despite it getting very positive reception all over, I was pretty underwhelmed by Second World. Here's hoping they'll make something as awesome as the debut again.
