Pain - Unveil New Album Title, Cover And More

Peter Tägtgren, multi-instrumentalist and the owner of the famous The Abyss studios, has unveiled the artwork and name for the new Pain record. The new album will be titled Coming Home. It will be out this summer on September 9th via Nuclear Blast Records. Feast your eyes on the cover artwork created by Stefan Heilemann (Epica, Lindemann, Indica among others) below.




Mastermind Peter states: "I was brainstorming about the cover with Heile again... And we got the result that I really needed. I rented a spacesuit and spinned away thereafter... Musically, the album is a development of where Pain and Lindemann ended at - more experimental than what I've ever done before. Acoustic guitars and a helping hand again from Clemens of Carach Angren with the orchestra arrangements, and some guest vocals. And Sebastian Tägtgren did a great job on the drums..."

More details and a European tour in October/November will be announced soon.

Awesome cover art. Pain is not my cup of tea, I like a couple songs and that's it, but will likely give it a shot.

More experimentation is always fun. Especially with this project. I've been in a Pain mood lately as well so it's going to be good to hear new music. Looking forward to it, especially with Clemens doing orchestral arrangements.
