Spain, Barcelona - Dark Tranquillity: Atoma European Tour 2017

Fantastic show, way better than yesterday. Mikael's voice was excellent (yesterday was merely really good), and he's as always an awesome frontman. As Amon Amarth wasn't there, we had 21 songs - 20 planned, plus the first-ever live rendition of "Encircled"!
(I must say that the Barcelona audience is really great, but in a slightly different way from French ones: less moshing, more hand-clapping and all-around cheering and screaming)
So yeah, once again, Dark Tranquillity are really to be experienced as a headliner

(oh, and please note that Chris Amott is filling in for Niklas Sundin on this tour )

Why did you go to Spain though? Eheh vacations?

Chris Amott with DT? Interesting Sad that there was no Portuguese date on this tour. Maybe on the next tour. Even though I've seen them live plenty of times, I'd like to hear the new songs live.

Because they played a full set in Barcelona, while they only opened for Amon Amarth in Toulouse... So as I was able to do both, I did! (but we just stayed in Spain one night, nothing more)
BTW, according to Mikael, Chris Amott already played with them in 1999 or something
As for the next tour, wait and see...
