Sólstafir - Stream New Song, Announce European Tour

Sólstafir have released another track from their upcoming album, Berdreyminn, which will hit the record stores shelves on May 26th, via Season Of Mist. The Icelandic outfit has already revealed the songs "Ísafold" and "Bláfjall" before. The new track, which is the opener of Berdreyminn is called "Silfur-Refur" and you can listen to it below.




Guitarist and vocalist, Aðalbjörn Tryggvason, comments: "The song 'Silfur-Refur' revolves around having a sick ghost version of yourself taking control of your life. You resist with all you have, but you simply don't stand a chance. It travels with you all the time, asleep or awake. The song was written in a few parts - with the intro being one of them. We knew right away that this would be the opener of the album."

Sólstafir will head out on a European tour this summer in support of the follow-up to 2014's Ótta and the band has announced that more dates will follow. You can check out the tour schedule below and buy your ticket here.

Sounds pretty good but not phenomenal nor all that special compared to their previous stuff. I haven't listened to Ísafold or Bláfjall yet so maybe I should do that.

Out of all songs released, this one is the best. Still not sure about how record will sound.

What would you call it then, if not European Tour? Do you expect them to play in Moldava, San Marino or Estonia because you know, Europe counts 44 countries?
