Celeste - Releasing 'Assassine(s)' Full Length Next Year

Celeste are excited to announce Assassine(s), their sixth full length instalment that will see its official release on January 28th 2022 through Nuclear Blast Records. The upcoming outing was recorded and mixed by Chris Edrich, mastered by Jean-Pierre Chalbos (La Source Mastering). Below you can also check out a Grégoire Orio-directed official music video for the album's first single, "Des Torrents De Coups".




"We're glad to unleash our first single", Celeste states. "This track is the first one we've started writing for the new album, but it's also one of the last we've finished. It's pretty representative of the reflexion we had all along the creation process of Assassine(s), I hope you'll enjoy the new sonorities and our new approach of the songwriting. This epic song is coming with the video clip it deserves, 'Des Torrents de coups' is the first part of a video triptych to be released in the coming months, produced in collaboration with video artist Gregoire Orio. Those video clips totally emphasize our well know imagery."

Fuck that was good. I don't care that they change almost nothing of their formula. It just works for me on a primal level.
I did think this track was more dynamic than previous albums though. A bit more post-metal a less pounding sludge/black.
