Ok, so they're going full pirate now

They sound renewed. Finely renewed. Loved this new direction.

Whitin Tamtaition once start as enthusiastic singing band when after few album they become much better. Same here seems after few album band wrote their best, good mix, studio work, music, vocal balance, lyrics. Well quastion is this band member metal musician and listeners or they just play it. To listen and play is more key factor to be successful

00:45 into the album I get a PotC vibe.. unfortunately it doesn't remain during the rest of the album.
I also wish they did a cover for 'Hoist the Colors'.

Really fucking good album. Gonna come back to this one, so many powerful songs and good variance in the speed of songs.

An interesting pirate concept, with some epic symphonies and melodies, and really nice vocals too. As symphonic metal albums go this is a good one, but it does take time to sink in at first.

Any ballads in this?

Finally a good album from VoA after many years.

This album is a grower.

Call me old-fashioned, but metal bands should write their music themselves.

Freedom, Heal The Scars

Yess, Heal the Scars is what got me into the album. pretty good album I must say

Best VoA release since Trinity. I've always found this band to be on the 'meh' scale of power and symphonic metal but this album is surprisingly decent.

Once again, a band I did not really liked that release an album that I've already listened 10+ times. Very good, not exceptional surely, yet very solid.

I see, but how do you want to know that the songs weren't 90% written by Michele or Clemi? Felix Heldt is their producer and for sure he had a part of it, but it's not said he had the most share of it. It's normal in the music industry that a producer when he made small changes gets credits for it as co-writter even he change maybe just one note.

I don't, actually. I don't care about this band. But because songs are noted as written by Heldt and Felder only I suppose this is how it is?

Very pretty sounding album. Some great vocal work. Guys, do check out Clementine's work in Exit Eden also.
