Misfits - Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood

This is THE Misfits record. Walk Among Us and Static Age are good but they can’t beat short and sweet hardcore horror.

Brilliant album. This record felt out of its time even when I first heard it in the late 1980s. I can’t imagine what it must have sounded like back in ‘83 or whenever it first came out. Crisp and powerful hardcore of a type rarely seen. Blows most of the 80s thrash records out of the water. The rest of the Misfits catalogue is good but nothing come close to reaching these sickeningly intense peaks. Thank god Metallica plucked it out of relative obscurity and gave it (and therefore Danzig) the attention it and he deserved.
