The previous album of Rob Rock was a bit deceiving for me. I don't know why but I didn't like it a lot? Of course it wasn't bad or anything but it was clearly too generic and conventional, all in all it was just a new album of Power Metal like the ton of other new ones that we have every day in our stores? The new release is much better in my opinion with some variations (in general the songs are a lot more aggressive now) and some nice NWOBHM touches!

This is surprisingly good, I expected worse TBH.

With Rob we got a funny scheme. Each 2 albums he uses a formula that works wonders in the first album, but in the second one, even if the final result is good, doesn't reach a peak level as did it in its previous one.

And once again, even if this album is not as good as Holy Hell, is another one worth to listen to. I recommend songs like Garden of Chaos (once again Rob give us a good starting tune), This Time is the Last Time (a little infused of Black Sabbath influences), Millennial Reign (probably the faster tune made in this project) and the final tune, the beautiful ballad Ode to Alexander, dedicated by Rob to his son.
