Amiensus - Reclamation: Part 1

Except for being a very good album, "Sun And Moon" especially is the stand out track after the first couple of spins, we also get the most gorgeous album cover of the year thus far. This album definitely is a grower and just gets better and better with every listen.

I would have liked the album cover much better without the logo there.

Reckon this is a step from the previous one, retains a bit more of what made Restoration really great while still continuing them moving forwards

Excellent work. Their previous albums didn't catch my attention, but this one is solid enough to keep listening to it

Whut? 2 Parts? and the second one is being released tomorrow? At some passages it reminds me of Agalloch

This album leans much more into progressive metal compared to the more melodic part 2. I like both, though I have a slight preference for the second.

All the tracks are connected and seems to be a continuous journey from first to last. Going to listen to Part 2.

For me the stand out track is vermilion fog of war. Quite a good listen.
