Comment from the label: "The story goes In 1998 Fatal Embrace recorded an album entitled Hail Down Deep but the album was never to see the light of day until today 26 years later!
"We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing Fatal Embrace’s second album Originally due in 98. Fatal Embrace's debut album Shadowsouls' Garden was released in November 1997 after a long wait. A few months later, the band recorded their second album Hail Down Deep, determined to create a near-perfect record. However, the members soon got involved with other bands, and Hail Down Deep remained unreleased. Rather than release Hail Down Deep, the band instead wrote and released their third album, Manifestum Infernalis, last year.
"Until now, 26 years later, the have decided to finally release Hail Down Deep. The album has now been re-recorded with new vocals by the current lineup's lyricist, Henric Serholt, and mixed and mastered by Christian Silver in 2024. The band is excited to finally share this personal favorite from their past.''
