I would say Iron Maiden whit No Prayer For The Dying are my fav Iron Maiden albums. My first and great memories, even musically others are much better

Never got into IM’s early albums myself, but he was definitely a respectable vocalist in my eyes.

Listening to Remember Tomorrow in his honor. Fantastic vocal performance on that song. It's the one that Bruce had to nail in order to get through his audition, which says a lot.

Might be worth another try.

Even though I'm not entirely surprised due to his long troubling health issues it's still very sad news. The IM debut still remains one of my favorite heavy metal records and one of my most listened to, the whole energy and enthusiasm he brought was something to behold. RIP

Those first two Maiden albums laid the foundation for, and stand proudly alongside, the Dickinson albums that followed. They pulled off a stunning 7 album run in the '80s and Di'Anno was an integral part of that.
Rest in Peace, Paul.

I will never forget the very first song I heard from Iron Maiden. A certain song called "Running Free". I was around 10 or 11 years old and my dad put it onto my MP3 player alongside a bunch of other absolute classic songs from other bands like: Smoke On The Water, Running With The Devil, Paranoid, The Seeker, God Save The Queen, Never Surrender, Breaking The Law, Another Brick In The Wall, ...
And out of all of those, guess which one stood out, and which one made me ask my father if he had a CD lying around from that specific band. I think you all know what band was blasting through the speakers in my room during that summer. So, I think it's fair to say that Paul was an integral part in Iron Maiden becoming my favourite band, and I would imagine he has had that same influence on countless other fans.
RIP Paul, and thank you for all the joy you gave us with your music.

Almost every band out there on social media has put a photo of Paul or a link with one of his performances, commenting on how influential he, and the first two IM albums, were for their musical existence. That goes to show that you only need a touch of brilliance in just a few songs to become immortal.
The first two IM albums are untouchable, and Paul is one of the main reasons for that.
RIP, Wrathchild.
