Comment from the group: "Dear friends, today we are turning to you with a message that may be unexpected for many: After 14 years of walking together, our paths with Luzi will part ways. We had to realize that our musical and personal goals keep drifting apart. A common denominator that binds us together was nowhere to be found.
"As many of you know, Luzi has recently spoken openly about his psychological challenges. We have great respect for his courage to communicate this, and wish him all the best on this journey from the bottom of our hearts. But we would also like to emphasize that our decision to go our separate ways is not related to this.
"The difficulties and differences that have ultimately led us to this point have existed for a long time. Over the years we have been trying to find a common base, but it has become increasingly difficult to create a co-operation that works for everyone.
"Luzi's works and energy have shaped Saltatio Mortis over many years, and we are deeply grateful for all the memories we created together. But now the time has come for all of us to take new paths.
"We look ahead, full of excitement and with the knowledge that there are still many exciting chapters ahead of us. 2025 will be a big year for Saltatio Mortis - with new music, exciting projects and unforgettable concerts. We look forward to celebrating with you!"

Sounds a lot like this guy needed a breather. Guess the pressure got to him, and he just couldn’t keep blowing through it. So logically, he piped down, squeezed out of the group, and went to find some fresh air.
