It’s been leaked awhile but it’s a little different in the official release. Don’t expect it to get much love here but I love their take on exploring these different genres and I like the personal concept behind the music.

I think I never got into the style of this band.

Great album doomed to be underappreciated because it’s chill compared to their hyper energetic stuff from two decades ago

I admit it's not really the same thing. I think I have a problem with the way the band makes its music. It's hard to explain, maybe I'm just hating on this band, but I always feel like there's something missing in their music.

Every time in their albums, the moments where I expect something amazing, they go off in another direction. I think I don't see music the same way they do, or maybe I just have questionable taste, I don't know.

You’re not alone; this release is even more random than their others. Those other albums had something to admire — except the last one — but this on the other hand is pretty passable stuff marred by odd structural choices…namely all that weird droning and whatnot that doesn’t fit the vibe.

I thought they wrote some absolutely beautiful moments on this album especially in the first few tracks, but they really are intent on just doing whatever whenever without regard to serving the song. At least that’s my take.

I couldn't get into their previous album at all as I found the song-structures far too bizzare and dysfunctional for my taste, and I can't really say I'm all that fond of this one either tbh. Saying that, however, I do slightly prefer this release overall as I find some parts at least soothing and reasonably interesting, just not enough to win me over on the grand scale.
