I was tired of Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth polls about Thrash metal. So I decided to learn about people's opinion on
other early thrash metal bands. Obviously I forgot some but I placed OTHER so everyone should be happy Just tell me which one you prefer and why
and don't forget to vote. I don't wanna hear anyone saying (my favorite is so metallica) please just don't include the big four. lol
My personal favorite would be Exodus even after the change in the vocals back in the day, they remain my favorite thrash metal band, because they're brutal, constant and they never forgot their old thrash metal sound. My favorite album is (obviously) Bonded By Blood. Also, a little 2010 recomendation would be Exhibit B, cause its simply awesome ! Can't wait for their next piece of art
Kreator for me. Anyway, 'Big Four' or not it makes very little difference to me. Only old Slayer is taken into account, as the rest could as well not exist, as far as I'm concerned.
The only Thrash I like is extreme Thrash like Flames, Hypnosia, Kreator, Massacra, Merciless, etc.
But you can't deny the talent of some other thrash metal bands that were not that (Extreme)

Annihilator anyone?
with only their first two albums being great to good thrash albums? Nah, I think I will pass up on them.
Alice and Neverland were awesome. Criteria/Diablos/Waking the Fury were good thrash albums and Schizo Deluxe/Metal/Annihilator were decent. You could argue that All For You was okay but that would be difficult, even for my standards...
Waking The Fury is a pretty awesome album imo, I don't care much for Sodom at all.

Thats quite particular, usually its like... Metallica, Slayer... megadeth lol and sodom comes after
but not in your case, cool.
Sodom is my favorite thrash metal band with Overkill and Slayer tied in second. Sodom just offers more of a groove factor that resonates with me and Angelripper has always been among my favorite vocalists, regardless of genre.

No offense, but you do realize he's monotone? And I don't get Slayer either.

I like Kreator and Testamen, but Kreator has shown with their last three albums better music for me than Testament. Not that i don't like older stuff from Testament.Anyway waitng for new Testament and hoping it will be as good as last one.

It doesn't really matter to me if he's monotone, I love the sound of his voice. To be honest I'm glad he doesn't go crazy with the range aspect; I don't want a male version of Maria Carey fronting a thrash band.

I would totally prefer that a talented person front all bands. lol

Well I believe there is alot of talented frontman in Thrash metal... maybe they're not that original and groundbreaking but still
they're good at what they do.
Too many people voting based on a tiny selection of albums.
