One of the most misunderstood bands of today. Hated by almost every metaller everywhere yet they command a powerful fan base.

As far as I know they did invent Nu Metal and have managed to keep their sound fresh and original since then. Their debut self titled album is still brilliant by today's standards and is one of my all time fave albums. Perfect for that teen angst.

I strongly urge any of you neigh-sayers to open your mind and give this band a chance.

Korn lol my favorite band, the one who started me in the metal scene...

hum...i agree with jonathan about the religious thing...i hate religion...its a opinion..

by the way...did you know that Jonathan Davis almost died weeks ago?

he is better of course ^^

If you allow me to critize KoRn, without immidiatly thinking that I am a KoRn basher: He's a hypocrite.

He says religious people have no proof about the existance of God, but what proof does he that God does not exist? I don't believe in a God too, but I believe every religion shoudl get some respect. And he doesn't give them that.

Yeah every religion should be respected, whether you believe in God(s) or not. But maybe Jonathan critisize those things because lots of people have died in religious wars and stuff. Pretty korn thing, I think.

Speaking of Korn and religion, my friends got a picture with the guitarist when he came to Israel to get baptized in the Sea of Galilee. Its really funny, he has like zillion tattoes and hes dressed in this priest like robe...

Korn is a good band for being nu-metal, though their bass is tuned WAY WAY down. nevermind. Korn is original in its time when it started, but as soon as they started having rappers join in recordings and expanding their sound they just sounded pretty generic. Follow the leader and the self titled album is a classic, have some good memories from them. The thing that has always bothered me about Korn is their teenish lyrics, and Jonathon davis' whiny "my dad raped me" voice. It gets old...

You mean Brian 'Head' Welch? Because the rest of the band is still pretty much anti-religion, I believe.

But anyway, do you have that picture on a website? Then you just type [ u r l ] page you want me to see [ / u r l ] (Without the spaces..)

@Kap'N Korrupt. What do you mean? If he doesn't want religion anyway, why would he want to look good and religious?

I can't believe I'm posting here. Belive it or not, I used to like nu-metal and Korn was my favorite band. But, then I started disliking them after I started listening to extreme metal and espacially now that they've turned into pop music. (exagerating ofcourse, don't attack me. )

Well, it happened to me too, they weren't my favorite band but I used to like their music, but then I realized that their music isn't the best, since I started to listen other genres of metal and I didn't listen them anymore

@Nervel: I guess what I'm trying to say is that he might have say he left to find God and to be walking down that path in order to get some more kind of publicity and attention maybe and that his venture might not be a pure and true one...

Creepy. And crappy

I remember getting into Korn as a 15 year old girl who was just getting to know music and loved them. In the mean time yes, I have also forgot a bit about them, got to know a whole lotta other music, bands and genres... And WTF after all these years when I decided to play Issues again, I discovered I like Korn even better than I did before. Including all new albums.

So, if you?re both trying to say that getting to know metal showed you how Korn really aren't that great, I daresay it wasn't so.

I love KoRn from their Self Titled Album to Issues but after that they were just pure trash. Keeping in mind that is a KoRn song. IMO KoRn's lattest attempts lacked the metal and the passion they had in the old days, I will not lay a finger on their new CD after listening to it at a mates. Issuses is by far my favorite album.

personally, I like KoRn when it's not about a big teenpop-festival and some 13 year old maggots crying on the frontline for the ballads, and it's the same thing with every band. right now I'm not really listening nu-metal at all, unless you consider Nicole and/or 3 inches of blood as nu-metal, which I don't.

good old KoRn...used to listen to them alot, but all their albums on my shelf are very dusty today. But the fact that I haven't listened to them for a while doesn't change my wiew on their music - I still think their songs are great (ok, their latest aren't what they used to be, but they definately don't suck). I even went to their concert last September, although I hadn't listened to them for quite some time and I must say I still remember it as one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

sooooooooooooooooooooo many i hate korn people , soooooooooooooooooooo many people who still block there minds from the bigger picture

music is for finding a song to fit your mood

even if your the worlds biggest opeth fan that doesnt mean that you cant feel the message behind a band you hates song, its happend to me and i know for a fact that it can happen to anybody because its so easy for a human to relate to another human thats why we have such a varied music scene

face it even if korn are your worse band then they still deserve credit , because your moaning ass has thought about them that much that they've become hated or regected

korn are not one of my favourite bands but they are good , worthy of respect and i love the coming undone video and song , im not mainstream i just know how to control that feeling that you feel when people are too famous and you think that you shouldnt like them when really there talented

The only band that gives me that much energy and emotions. I know their lyrics are bit teenish and silly, but I'm a teen too, so I can relate to those lyrics... JD knows what youngsters are going through, even nowadays, though he is getting more mature with his lyrics. Not the usual themes like childhood etc. More like against organized religion, politics in real life (not the suits), sex (old subject, but not the whiny bitching), song for the angsty teen kids (sarcasm), being away from family and all etc.

Korn just feels the best band out there for me. I have discovered many bands after I got into them, but I always find them easy to get back on them and bang my head off while listening their songs. No other band gives me those goosebumps even if you have listened same song for 100000 times...

When KoRn was touring in skandinavia the last time, they tried to get Dimmu Borgir to warm up, that's what I read from an article. Well, DM said no, not surprise there. Kind of weird and funny, but I have to give gredit to the guys of KoRn for having balls to ask a band which style is totally different
