Megadeth

Megadeth is an amazing thrash band. Dave Mustaine is an amazing song writer and his vocals are so aggressive which is one of the main things that make them such a great thrash band is that you can really feel the anger in his singing. My favorite Megadeth album is Peace Sells... But Who's Buying because it so aggressive and contains so many great songs like Wake Up Dead, Peace Sells, Devil's Island, and Good Mourning/Black Friday. My next two favorites are So Far, So Good... So What! and Rust in Peace. They are also an amazing band to see live if you ever have the chance you should see them.

fuck yeah these dudes hold the title for my two favorite rythem sections ever. psychotron and wake up dead im sure youll agree there fucken well composed but these dudes are one of my many lords of the riffs lol

thes guys don't evan need me to bost their success they are so fuckin' good! I really love everything they do countdown to extinction is their best album. they're just supreme!

Megadeth rulez! I love everything about them. Dave is my favorite member. He's so super talented and a great songwriter. I love the way he sings too. Dave is a god. I have alot of favorite albums/songs. If I had to narrow my choices down. My fave album would be Youthanasia and my fave song would be "The Scorpion".

Its my fav lbum too i had it and my fav songs re ''Reckoning Day'' ''Train of Consequences'' ''The Killing Road'' ''The Killing Road'' also I had those ''Peace Sells...But Whos Bying'' and ''Rust In Peace'' and in tape ''Countdown to Extinction''

I agree hes ay of singing are greatvand he are good songwriter specely after ''Countdown to Extinction'' album but ''Die Death Enough'' are so amazing song i thinbk bets of them, but also i like ''Hight Spee Dirt''

Great Fan of Megadeth...I think it is a great band i know it won't happen but i'd really like Friedman again in the band...His solos are GODLY!

Friedman is a beast on the guitar, but he was slowing their tempo down, unfortunately.

Dave Mustaine really is an amazing guitar player, very cool solos. Hope they come to Sweden next year when they release the new album

I don't know what you guys are talking about! Fucking Killing is my Business... and Business is Good! is the best Megadeth album hands down. This was when he was angriest and evilest (is that a word?). Most thrashy album they have (aside from Peace Sells I guess). I mean c'mon Rattlehead, KIMB, Loved to Deth, Mechanix, These Boots (fuckin' best cover in the world) so many classics. You can't go wrong with this album!

Well, I don't know about the best, just to name one I think Dream theater writes better lyrics, but one thing's for sure, MegaDeth's lyrics are exceptionally Kick ass-alicious.

He certainly does right from the heart...whenever he has a problem in his life, he overcomes it by writing a song about it...at least that was the idea I got from watching their Behind The Music thing...

Have you guys heard the new Gears of War song? If not, check it out somewhere on this page. Unfortunately, it's not that good, but I wasn't expecting it to be.

Megadeth is actually the 1st thrash band I got into. I bought Killing is my business, and I found my favorite song on that CD was Rattlehead. Their speed, guitars, and awsome lyrics are one perfect concoction for metal.

Actually I can't say that's true, They are pretty good, but they don't have anything on Chuck Sculdiner's Lyrics. RIP Chuck.

Hahaha, Marty has always looked like that ever since he shaved off his moustache. I once had a metal mag in 1983 with a review of I think it was the Made In Hawaii e.p. by Vixen and on the photo accompanying the review there was Marty Friedman with longer hair and a moustache, he looked a he had just walked right off the set of a porn movie and picked up his guitar to pose for the pic.

seeing them opening for Heaven & Hell (black sabbath -ozzy +ronnie james dio) is gonna be cool. But I hear Megadeth kind of shit the bed last time they played in my town.

Me too, and I doubt I will hera them live, but ist no metters, still like them

The first song of their's I heard was Symphony of Destruction, just when I was getting into metal, I reckon. Then I discovered their older stuff, which is even much better in my opinion. No words, fucking great band. I haven't listened to their stuff after cryptic writings, although I heard some of The System has failed once.


My favourite album would be Peace Sells, its just so catchy and rhythmic that I almost go to another world when I listen to it. Songs like Wake up Dead, The Conjuring, Devils Island etc. are just so good!

I'd absolutely love to see them live(I hope their current line-up still kicks ass, haven't listened to their later work much), but I can't see it happening in the near future, unfortunately.

I think the new album is gonna be really cool. It's more thrash than TSHF (which was nevertheless cool). I liked Gears of War and the new song Sleepwalker is pretty thrashy, too. I couldn't get into "Washington is Next", but I'm nevertheless waiting for the album. What do you think?

Just got back from the Megadeth concert, it totally kicked ass! Holy Wars was an amazing song to mosh to.

I dont really listen to Megadeth that often... The lyrics just dont seem that good to me. lol

The new album sounds like its gonna be good, despite the fact that Christina Scabbia is appearing on a new version of 'A toute le monde'

FUCK that's annoying. I think Dave Mustaine is the only person who likes that song, and the fact that Christina is on it makes things even worse. Still, I might by that album just for Sleepwalker.
