Burning Witch doesn't have a genre. Drone/doom or sludge/doom would be accurate.

Silent Kingdom sounds like folk/black metal in all their albums but MS qualified him as death metal.

Why not making a whole new genre to fit their new style..like Nu SymphonicCore?

I dunno, gothic death doesn't really work and extreme gothic is better reserved for the likes of CoF.

I was updating the page for Gonin-ish, but I don't quite know where to add their playing style. They play a mix of avant-garde prog and death metal.

This is a thread for reporting mistakes for our featured (visible) bands, not adding styles for invisible bands. You can always PM me (or another Staff member) for that.

There is a problem with the band 'Canaan'. Their Official Myspace mentions a past member "Anthony Duman" who was recruited as bassist in 1997. I added him but left the "departed in" field NA as the site doesn't confirm. Please look into it as its already activated. Thanks!

That's perfect actually. The whole point of the NA option was to be able to make more bands visible without requiring such specific dates.

This way if we have the current line-up and all former members (even if they're all NA) the band can be made visible.

I asked Ivan a while back to incorporate something to make it so that we don't need specific years for former members, since most of the time the only thing holding bands back from being made visible was like one former member not being listed due to a lack of information.

As long as all the appropriate members are listed, yes.

If a current member has NA I'd probably still allow it, although chances are a simple Google search could probably remedy that.
