Good enough to be in my collection \m/
----
And I see the blade fall down upon the head of lord in heaven
And Darkness falls upon the end of history
While I drink the milk of the Black Goddess and cry over the mankind

Black Moses is my name...

I remember I really disliked it when it was released... but I must have been in a shitty mood because this ROCKS. Sure it doesn't break new ground but it most stuff here works. Ozzy sounds good, the songs have a good flow, the riffs are there. I will give it one more spin before I put a rating but it's either 7 or 8.

I haven't listened to this one in a really long time, I will try and make some time to listen to it again.

It's not a bad album at all, a decent send off for a legendary band I say. The production is very good on this one, it's really well mixed, and the bass sounds great, it really cuts through deep, but for me I think they played it a wee bit on the safe side, they wanted to end their career on a high, so made a rather consistent album, with simple but decent songs, as opposed to an experimental one which would of been more risky for them, and they brought back some of their traditional doom elements aswel, like the deep guitar tone, and heavy riffs, which is what this lineup was most suited for.

The album brings back nostalgia from the original Ozzy era, which is what I believe most Sabbath fans wanted to see for one last time. It was always great to see the return of Ozzy, I suppose it was destined for him to return to the band for a final time, it's just a shame Ward turned down the role as the drummer for this album, otherwise it would of been a full original house.

I know that this is something he’ll end up regretting on his deathbed.

As someone mentioned above, this album is nothing new, but it is indeed well produced, and it is a good farewell album for this legendary band that did its best to restore the original lineup after stumbling in the 1980s and brought us a good farewell. Well, there is no reason to expect more. Subjectively and objectively, it deserves this score.

Because it's not good to end career with Forbidden as last album.

Damaged Soul is a seriously underrated song. It's right up there with the classics.
