Where in Canada are you from? most Canadians on here are from the toronto ottawa and everywhere in between area. (besides the lonely Calgarian over here)

i'm from toronto, buddy.

though, i'm one of those nut jobs that dont go to shows too often. either my favorite bands come during my exams, or something, or my bands just dont come at all. plus, other bands that i'm sort of into come during odd days of when i'm either out of town or some other shit...

last show i went to...2005-therion, aesma daeva, and some other band...been a while

I'm from British Columbia! Not going to mention my town, because it's too small to be on any map unless it's very specific.

Good news, last night at a show I was talking to the lead singer of a local band called Dark Forest (im not sure how well known they are so bear with me here), and it turns out there going to be opening for Ensiferum in Toronto! Sometime in November, so anybody going to that show should definitly check them out and post what you think.

canada in toronto has a mixed weather system right now. 2 days ago, it was frigid! and now its kinda warm at about 14-19 degrees.

ottawa on the other hand is much colder. supposedly the days are at 8 degrees or so

Oh ok. haha Australia has mixed weather systems as well. where i live its starting to get really hot but i live in the northern part of NSW so its going to get hotter faster than the sourthern part of NSW.
wow 8 degrees sounds cold. our days are getting up to 28 degrees now. almost summer weather.

Well right now i'm living in Ohio, i'm going to be moving to Reno, NV at the end of the year, and i'll finish school there. But...My girlfriend is from British Columbia, and i'm going to move up there after i finish school in Reno. I love her very much and i'm excited to move up there with her.

Thats really cool. BC is nice...but expensive.

and british colombia expensive? i would have thought that about ontario. not only are taxes high. but in general, prices are fairly high here

Well, have you seen housing prices? There ridiculous. Believe me, its an expensive place.

i wish i could, but i cant get out of my university thing. so i'd be leaving at 3 in the morning on the 20th.

Yeah, it's expensive to live in the lower mainland, but everywhere else is just fine. Where do you live anyway? Alberta? And you're thinking about going to UBC? My bro's got a one bedroom basement suite down there, really nice, but he pays $950 a month. Kelowna is fucking expensive too, but I have family/friends more places, so I luck out.

A one bedroom suite for 950 is still effing ridiculous, you could probably get out for 700 at least here.

Lol, a metal club here would be sweet. The closest thing we have here is a sweet bar called Verns that always has punk or metal bands playing. no big clubs though for metal.

800-900 for a one bedroom suite is the going price in the building that I live in. It's 1029 for the two bedroom suite that I live in right now. I'm moving out of Toronto in April though because it's too damn expensive.
