I ask that you at least leave my account and my brother's account unbanned so we can rate the album. Do my brother and I have the right to give Tarja's work a '10' rating? Or do you think we can't, and if possible, please lift my brother's ban.

Or at least, allow me to use this new account I created to browse the site and rate it again without being blocked this time.

We will look into this and I will reach out to you here.

I'm going to give Tarja's album a 10/10 with this account I'm using.

Most specialized critics on various websites are giving it scores between '8' and '9', but I believe that as a fan I can give it a '10'.

I hope I don't get banned again. Thank you for your attention.

I must admit that this album has shown me a huge difference. I didn't appreciate his solo work much, but as others have said, it took him almost two decades to evolve so much.

I haven't listened to any of her previous albums, and I am as far away from being a sympho fan as one can be, but this is actually very enjoyable to listen to.

Maybe I'm just tired of this symphonic metal standard, but this didn't really resonate with me, it sounds like a really long song with very few notable variations, something that bands like Epica do a lot. The instrumental is good, but Tarja vocals kind of get me bored, or even annoyed in some songs because of her over-singing and too many melismas. She had stepped away from this operatic insistence in Colours in the Dark (which was her really big achievement for me), and continued paving her career with a more crossover appeal; I was only waiting for a good suitable sound and songwriting to match her vocal evolution, but this definitely is not it. I think 6 is a very good rate.

Interesting discourse going on around here. I wouldn't have checked out the album if I didn't see this thread on the metalstorm homepage.

the album is actually pretty nice. I must say it's much better than Nightwish's last 4-5 albums. makes me wonder if I should check out more of Tarja's albums. the last one i heard was Colors in the Dark

For me, all of her previous albums are just boring, with max 2-3 tracks that I (somewhat) like. But opinions may vary.
