VERY sub-par album. Unoriginal with rather below average production (which usually I don't mind, but just makes power metal less listenable), not to mention very cliche unimaginative lyrics.

I'd actually rate this higher than most of the early stuff. It's the usual power metal stuff but it;s done very well indeed.

Not a bad album TBH, a bit repetitive maybe, the songs mostly go by similar pattern. Anyways the riffs are good, leads are good and vocals are good. I see no major lacks here. The last songs; "Frozen In Time" ? "The Battlefield" are IMO better than those preceding them. Good songs with strong choruses.

So far their best IMHO. Solid Metal with some highlights like The Beast From The Blackness, The Demon Master, Frozen In Time and The Battlefield
