Heavily overlooked. In my opinion one of the best albums from Thyrfing's catalog.

I agree, my favourite album from these guys. Should be rated higher than this IMO.

Thomas Väänänen, not Jens Ryden , well this is how legend born, pagan, viking, folk, black metal good song writing, harshy angry vocals, coming from harsh environment even in conacred Stockholm, in those days football boys was fighting harder, bike pistons whit patched boys was old school. I like this sound, old school studio mix and master whit super good quality sound, this is good album.

This debut was not as great of an album as the sophomore that followed, but they had to start somewhere. Very much synth oriented this, which I have no problem with as it's that which contributed to the enchanting wintery atmosphere that was the stand-out element. The production wasn't that great though, it's rough and raw but sounds quite thin and not mixed all that well, and it didn't feature quite enough hooky or memorable melodies to excite me. "Going Berserk" is the clear highlight for me.

I would day for debut unknown band whit so little finaces that album is ok ,but i agree whit rest

It's not a bad debut by any means but I never really took to it as much as I did with debuts from other band's similar during that time. They soon improved with their following album Valdr Galga though, for me that was their best release imo.
