Yeah... my first experience with Boris. I think I chose the wrong one. Or can someone teach me how to appreciate J-Pop? ._.

Haha, yeah bad choice for your first foray into Boris. I'd say go for Amplifier Worship, Feedbacker and Heavy Rocks for a good idea of what they're capable of.

I've barely skimmed through this one, I don't mind the style though so. The ones I mentioned are naturally nothing like this in any way : P

Do I like this... or don't I? It's like.... gay... but good.

This 'new album' is pretty funny. 7.5, but I round it up with great pleasure.

Wow... yeah, bad choice buddy, like my man Joe said, try stuff like Amplifier Worship and Heavy Rocks. I would like to recommend you Flood as well, a quite special record imo.

I've tried Amplifier Worship. It was good - very good, but not excellent material imo i.e. I doubt I would go back to it very often.
Checking out the new Heavy Rocks a few days ago. Kinda like what I hear, though I doubt it would make it to my year end list. I'll give it a few more spins and see

I understand. I don't listen to Boris very often either but when I feel like it, it sounds very good indeed. There are better stuff for me in the world of drone/stoner/sludge but this guys still make stuff that is worth to check out

New Heavy Rocks was a disappointment, primarily because it's nothing like the original Heavy Rocks.

Found it at a used cd store for 2 bucks. I guess it was worth it... after listening to it it left me feeling absolutely nothing though..

Da Hell? RYM tags says this album is J-Pop!?
better listen to it, I guess
