"Washing Away The Blood", the new video from Dutch Gothenburg metal band Detonation, can now be watched below.

The clip was shot by Framecat film and video productions.

"Washing Away The Blood" comes off the band's latest album Reprisal, which was released earlier this week, March 31st, as a self-released album due to the fact the band are still unsigned after their Osmose Productions contract ended. More album details were previously reported over here.

Strange that it says "through Osmose Productions" when in fact Detonation are currently unsigned and when I spoke to Mike he said it would be self-released.

I dont understand why they are being called Gothenburg... if you ask me they sound a lot more akin to tech death, the only thing gothenburg about this song was the part leaading up to the solo, the solo and the vocalist does more of a screaming upper throat technique akin to Tomas Lindberg. Aside from that the rest of the majority of the song was more of a technically frenzied blasting tremolo death feast. I enjoyed this very much, I have too many other new albums on my plate right now I'm still trying to get intimate with like Amon Amarth, Obscura, Abysmal Dawn, Sylosis, Burzum and Cavalera Conspiracy. This first half of the year has been pretty good.
