Oiginally recorded with Sy Keeler on vocals. London Records were not impressed with the final product & enforced a rerecording of the album with Steve Grimmett on vocals

Onslaught - In Search Of Sanity was part my life growing up has a young teen to me these guys were cool a raw tharsh album that my friend and i played the album over and over again till we killed the tape great times then listen to this i'll will be buying this when i get some cash 10/10 for me nice one you guys Onslaught.:banger2::banger2:

With this record they become very melodic, melodic thrash metal. Long songs, the album is sure very influenced by Metallica's "And Justice For All". I love the raw later ones too, but this melodic one kicks absolutely ass for me. Same quality like their other stuff, only in very melodic style. I would not say it's underrated, but sure better than most people think...

Probably my favourite Onslaught -- easily my favourite when it comes to vocals; Steve Grimmett's voice was a great addition to this music. While I think the songs go on a bit too long, the songwriting manages to keep me relatively interested for most of the album. The brilliant AC/DC cover could be named as the best moment of this album and the other two songs I'm rather fond of are "Welcome To Dying" and "Powerplay".
