X Japan - Blue Blood

Again, it has it´s production problems like the debut álbum, but it is definitely superior and one of the best cds of X Japan. An amazing power metal classic. Really fantastic stuff here.

This is a great album, good songs from start to finish, overall it's a very pleasant album to listen to, although it has a reasonably long duration, it doesn't get tiring to listen to in its entirety, another thing worth mentioning is the vocals which are very good, they're melodic but not painful which is a very positive point. Although this is classified as power metal, I think it has more of a speed metal feel from the early 80s.
The highlights of this album for me are Blue Blood, Week End, X, Endless Rain, Kurenai, Orgasm and Rose of Pain. I don't see any bad songs on this album, but I think Easy Fight Rambling and especially Celebration are a little below average.
