Riot - Immortal Soul

Well this one jumped up and suprised me, a really good Metal album from Riot - excellent stuff.

This album is full of amazing tunes!

I was expecting this album to be good, "Thundersteel" lineup and all, but it actually surpassed my expectations.

Masterpiece at the least . love it.

Incredible; keeps getting better and better.

Ah, misunderstood you there. In that case, I very much agree with you. Sadly, they are inevitable.

Starts off so strong but the quality really dips by the end.

Its grown on me, slightly. just not my thing though.

This is fucking amazing album of the thousands years !!

I approve of this album being on the top of the top 20.

This drummer should play in all bands of the world, jesus.

I didn't expect anything from this late Riot album and it totally blew my mind without mercy. Thundersteel and Privilege of Power are some of my favorite albums of all time regardless of genre, so naturally Immortal Soul ripped my heart out and ate it up raw and beating in the very first song. But even with or without my now infamous fanboyism this album still kicks some ass like a crazed lunatic on crack.

How in the world can a truly pioneering old-school 70's and early 80's metal band like Riot feel this energetic and fresh even after all these years I will never understand. But what a great thing they did and still do. Immortal Soul is up there with Privilege and Thundersteel among their best albums. Immortal Soul is a piece of art.

Ugh, I have spoken.

This band is totally overrated.
