Got interested in this cool band in first because of Steve DiGiorgio, since I really liked his work with Death, Iced Earth and Control Denied. I have first 2 albums, and of those I like 1st more, but both are crazy shit, I like em!!
Well, judging by posts in this thread, they are underrated, indeed.

i woudln't call sadus underrated, they lack the amount of listeners which metallica and slayer have, but the certain fanbase around sadus and most thrashers from the 80's appreciate their work a lot. they're overlooked alright, that's for sure, but i wouldn't call them underrated. anyway, i was extremely disappointed with their new album, but the old stuff is just brilliant. awesome riffs, intense basslines, fucked up drums and "in your face!" vocals, pure thrash.

OK, overlloked. Maybe in English thats a difference, but here those words mean the same. I can bet that only 1 out of 20 metalheads here has even heard of Sadus. (i mean, in my country)

it's not the same thing for me, overlooked means that the band is simply overseen, that not many people have heard of them, underrated means that they don't become the recognition they deserve, and i have never seen or heard someone talking bad about sadus, actually, i have only heard good things about sadus, except for the new album, which disappointed lots of people.

Yeah, I see your point, and youre probably right... Not many people know Sadus, but those who know them, they like them.

They tried so much...but they lack.
Songwriting mainly.
Not essential eventually.

Hey, does anyone know Sadus' cover of Iron Maiden's "Invaders"?? Its soooo good, its 100% thrash metal! Even the production seems bit better than usual Sadus.
