The band posted the following: "Attention demons, vampires, re-animators, wizards of gore, speedwhores, freaks, shrouds of gloom, worms of the earth and dead fish! The original lineup of Rigor Mortis is leaving tomorrow morning for El Paso. We will be entering the studio and recording for the next 2 weeks. This will be the 1st album with this lineup since our debut self-titled album that was released on Capitol Records. That album was recorded exactly 24 years ago. It's been a long time coming... But we promise we will not disappoint our loyal fans! Rigor Mortis is officially back from the grave!"

Cool news, I think they used to be one of the most underrated good thrash bands sounding like Holy Terror, Torture and Slayer. The debut album was really good. I wish Holy Terror would make a reunion too  .

Do I have to write an essay Every time !Rigor Motis changed their name to Immolation (not disbanded). After changing name for over 10 years, they have released about 8 albums under the band name Immolation. Now they are changing back their name to Rigor Motis or what It sound weird to have two different band names under the same group of people !Hughh... Now you got what I meant ? I really hope you get smarter (read between the lines) please.

Yes this is the Rigor Mortis from Austin, Texas. Saw them a few years back when they got back together at a show in Houston with Helstar and it was awesome.
