Saratoga - Nemesis

I cannot wait for this album! Secretos Y Revelaciones is one of my favourite power metal albums of all time, If this one is anywhere near as good then I'll be happy.

I bought the album earlier today. From the first spin I can say that this album is easily in their top two but not quite as good as Secretos y Revelaciones.. They've added a load more progressive elements to their sound this time around and the whole record sounds much darker than anything they've made before.. The thrashy elements of their earlier career are back in some songs as well.. "Hasta el día más oscuro" is probably my favouite track after one listen..

Honestly, I must admit that I am quite disappointed with this album. It's not THAT bad, I mean I will give it another spin or ten "another spins", I guess I just had my hopes up high. It lacks something... something I just can't put my finger on.
