Have you ever wondered what Pink Floyd would sound like if they were playing Grindcore? Well your answer is right here waiting for you, ¡T.O.O.H.! (The Obliteration Of Humanity) a Czech groundbreaking band with really incredible tunes, out of this world riffing, catchy drum-beats, and generally speaking overwhelming music.

I've been trying to get over the inactive snare but it's just too irritating, almost ruins it for me.

EDIT: In case you were wondering, 3 years later, I'm over it. Sounds great

Absolutely amazing. Although I am now familiar with their next record for a few years now, I didn't give the attention this one deserves up to today. This is on par with Order And Punishment. Love that crazy calm guitars on the blastbeats in the last track.

An imaginary cookbook for this record: take Opeth, replace death with grind, take their amazing song writing and push it even higher, use harsh invectives of a misanthrope mad by anger instead of velvet growls and bemused clean singing, keep the scattered bits of classical music but throw in a fair dose of jazz, conclude with an EPIC outro, and have a lot of freaking fun!

This really is something (along with Order And Punishment).

I like this way more than I remember liking Order and Chaos, maybe I should revisit that one. But this is really good.

EDIT: yup it's just this one, though I still like parts of the follow-up. I really think the full production here helps out tremendously.

They are VERY neck and neck for me too. It really depends on the mood since I think Order and Chaos is just a tiny bit more contained and with a more conventional production.
This one on the other hand is far more extreme in how weird it is. From the production (specially the drums and acoustics!) to just the overall songwriting.
Both albums have MASSIVE endings as well.
