Maybe it has to do with the fact that as Demigod they recorded an absolute classic in the form of Slumber Of Sullen Eyes?

Maybe. I'm not as big a fan of that record but that's definitely more of a classic than this I'd say.

I can't find this anywhere, I've listened to it and it's great though

I'm very drawn to this, even though I haven't listened to it very much recently. Great record. Shame it came so much after Demilich which does every idea on this record in a fully fleshed out fashion, but it's still still a tremendously brilliant record.

Their 2nd album is better, but this is almost as great. I could head bang to the riffs in 'Mythic Descendant' for hours.

Fun record and fun art that has an interesting center image to prevent it from other non-fun dm records in order to not be not fun. Amusingly I found this also not to be not less fun than Demilich but we'll see.

Not sure if much early first-decade death holds up still so it was an extra layer of fun. Was shocked to see this from 1996 as that was an incredible year besides Tupac's alleged death.

The vocalist from Adramalech was in Demigod six years after Slumber of Sullen Eyes was released and there’s no other crossover. So, no.
