I know it's wrong to judge music by a name before actually listening to it, but... sold!

I hope the music live up the expectation caused by band name . Should definitely investigate this band

Nah, the band name would only make me completely ignore the album if it wasn't recommended on MS What I heard so far does sound lovely.

Just randomly tossed it on. Good music to get a bit drunk and do some boring work to.

Oh yeah, totally. I was already really enjoying the song (zoning out, reading stuff online). But when the last movement of the song started, I jumped outta my seat and was like, "Aaaawwww, shhhhhiiiiiiiit." \m/

Didn't catch that the first time, but reading it over it's pretty funny

This is a fine album, although admittedly I wasn't enraptured by it for the full duration.

That being said, a Persefone fanboy rated this a 1 (making the average assessment much lower than it should be). I sincerely hope, in the meantime, that people will continue to check this album out, since it is indeed an album with some great psychadelic moments.

Yeah, Lesbian obviously ran over Unknown Cheese's dog as he's only ever given out 2 ratings: a 10 to Persefone and a 1 to this album.

I'll give it a spin in a minute.

I just finished my first listen. It has some really good moment juxtaposed with some "so so"ish ones. For an album with one extremely long song, it is really important to be able to keep the listener in for the whole duration . This album failed in this duty a few times. Overall, enjoyable and pleasant journey

I came here for the lesbians. Stayed for the music.

First time listening to this band. This is good. I didn't realize they are on Translation Loss either...

Brilliant, addictive doom record and this time I find the tagged genres here to be pretty scrupulous with what I had in mind: Avant-garde doom and stoner/sludge.

Didn't like this at first, but I'm relistening to it now and this is pretty cool. Pretty fun listen.
