The newly released mini-LP Death's Crown Is Victory marks British epic doomsters Solstice's return and now you can hear it here streaming in its entirety. Composed and performed by Paul Kearns, Rich Walker, Andy Whittaker, Ian "Izak" Buxton and James Ashbey, it features the first new material from the band in a very long time. Start your weekend with some doom.

The group will be announcing details of the vinyl and cassette release in the next week in case you are interested.

This was okay. Not as epic as their LPs. Closer to New Dark Age than Lamentations, which I preferred.

This is one fine slab of epic metal - great does not begin to describe it. Especially "I Am The Hunter" - this is probably the best single song of 2013.
