Sleep - New Album In The Works
A new Sleep album after so many years? It seems like their reunion is finally resulting in new material judging by a recent interview with bassist/vocalist Al Cisneros. Via phone, Cisneros recounts intense rehearsal schedules for both stoner three-piece Sleep and experimental drone band Om and confirms a solo EP dropping on Drag City, and also albums in process for Sleep and Om.
Sleep hasn't put out anything since 2003's Dopesmoker, a lengthened version of 1999's Jerusalem and the Dopesmoker reissue by Southern Lord in 2012.
For now, nothing was revealed about a possible release date, but what do you think about the prospect of a new Sleep album?
