Trinacria is a new band from Norway with members famous for Enslaved. Their style can be best described as "Psychedelic Black metal", a style which is now being developed and popularized by Nachtmystium. Trinacria is more than just psychedelic though and embraces a much larger part of the musical spectrum than Nachtmystium does.

I youtubed a couple of tracks and the title track is now stuck in my head, such a powerful and dense sound!

I got a promo copy of this, as I was a reviewer for a shitty metal website when it was released. I encourage you to listen to it as a whole, I remember giving it a high grade, compared to all the crap I had to listen to and write about during that year.

Reminds me of the thing Enslaved did with Shining.

Got this one for free in a CM Distro order, which was great. As a huge Enslaved fan I was always interested in this album, but never sure I wanted to get it based on the samples I listened to. Listened to it once and felt good that I'd gotten it for free.

Then I listened to it again a while later.

Then I listened to it again.

Then I listened to it again.

It's a grower.
