You're welcome I'm happy their choice to hire a vocalist has turned so great btw, I wasn't sure their music would have been apt for singing, but it is.

I think any band, even a progressive one, is only really going to find a pretty niche market without a vocalist, so this was a sensible choice. I also thought the vocals are pretty good and right for the style of prog metal the band are performing; I'll be checking out more of their stuff and wish them well.

I don't know about you, but I have been wondering what future direction Symphonic influenced Prog Metal would take, as the number of bands so overtly influenced by DT/ SX appear to be burning themselves out. I applaud bands such as Susypre, Thought Chamber and To Mera (for example) who push the boundaries of technicality whilst still being able to provide a strong enough melodic line for 'clean' vocalists to thrive...

Well those bands you mentioned, thus not being among my favourites, released some amazing stuff. I feel that this genre, if well executed, can give great satisfactions, but it's everything but a "safe" genre. It's easy to produce uninspired music, even if I -luckily- can't provide examples of this atm
