It seems like yesterday (it wasn't) when Skogen released Svítjod and I sat at my computer desk typing up a review starting out with how much these guys have flown under the radar in spite of creating some excellent atmospheric/pagan black metal. Today I will start out doing the same.

Good stuff. Although pretty weird, but funny, with that Statoil commercial in the middle of "Sleep".

Alright stuff, but a bit too much like old Enslaved at times and at other times a bit too much Wolves In The Throne Room.

I actually think this is their best album yet. I just wish they'd try doing something a little different, rather than just copying other, much better, black metal bands (as Marcel previously stated).

When I first bought this album I listened to it a few times- gave it a 7 called it good. Broke it out again this weekend and haven't been able to put it away. I love music like this that grows on you with every spin. I upped my rating and would encourage all to give this a good number of times through- it's a jewel.
