Wovenwar - Debut New Single, Announce Tour Dates

Wovenwar are officially taking off. After As I Lay Dying members teamed up with Oh, Sleeper's Shane Blay to created the band, they released their new single "All Rise" today. If you are curious about their music, check out the track below. With their self-titled debut set for release in late summer 2014 via Metal Blade Records, what are your expectations for it after hearing this song?





In other news, Wovenwar also announced their first shows as a band which will take place in Europe this summer. The dates are the following:

15 August - Belgium at Pukkelpop
16 August - Hamburg, Germany at ELB Riot
17 August - Herford, Germany at X RockFest
21 August - London, UK at The Barfly (headlining show)
22-24 August - Leeds & Reading Festivals

Poppier AILD with no screams. Gotta let that sink in more before I can say yay or nay; guess that says something semi-positive about it since I don't know if I like it or hate it. Will definitely wait for the full release to pass judgment.
