Merely hoping for their tunes to be deemed catchy isn't Black Moth's manner of proceeding. Cunningly combining rock 'n' roll energies and a darkly charred stoner metal presentation, it seems that they would condemn passable song writing to deliver catchy tunes by natural force of habit.

Decent, solid but hardly going to set the world on fire.

I added them a few days ago for reviewing purposes, plus they're a great band of course.

Decent, solid but hardly going to set the world on fire.

The main drawback with this one is how much they've refined themselves from that very raw and dynamic garage rock influenced sound that they had on their debut. This is more in line with a stoner metal record, rather than a mix of doom and stoner rock. Still very enjoyable material, the lyrics certainly haven't been refined at least.

Well I'd be lying if I said I'd noticed anything about the lyrics but I agree this time did sound very clean and standard indeed.

I'd recommend "Looner" for some amusement. The lyrics are about balloon fetishism, so certainly not clean from a lyrical perspective, haha

Haha, I might actually break with tradition and read that then

My second-biggest fear, aside from public speaking, is balloons. So fuck that song.

More like they're going to set the world... ablaze!

Imagine having to give a public speech to a room full of balloon clutching clowns.
